A Compassionate, Insightful Approach to Healing

Hi there! I'm Tracy!

I help you explore your current day problems and struggles to help you find clarity and healing!

Healing is not about pushing through or trying harder—it’s about understanding, reconnecting, and transforming the patterns that have kept you stuck. My approach is centered on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal. I work with you to uncover the root causes of your struggles, helping you move beyond surface-level symptoms to lasting change. By exploring how past experiences shape your present, we can break free from unhealthy patterns and foster deeper connection with yourself and others.

Healing Modalities

At Synergistic Journeys I integrate evidence-based and intuitive approaches to help you experience profound and lasting healing:

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

EMDR is a powerful psychotherapy approach that helps people process and heal from distressing life experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which can take years to create meaningful change, EMDR has been shown to accelerate healing—helping individuals move forward more quickly.

Many believe that deep emotional wounds require a long and difficult recovery. But just as the body knows how to heal a physical wound, the mind is also capable of healing from psychological trauma. When you get a cut, your body works to repair it—unless something, like an infection, prevents healing. Once that block is removed, the body naturally resumes its recovery.

EMDR works in a similar way. The brain is designed to process and heal from difficult experiences, but sometimes trauma creates a “stuck point,” preventing emotional recovery. EMDR helps remove that block, allowing the brain’s natural healing process to take over. Through a structured, research-backed approach, EMDR-trained therapists guide clients through this process, helping them reprocess past experiences in a way that brings relief and lasting change.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is a transformative approach that helps you understand and heal the different parts of yourself. IFS is based on the idea that the mind is made up of various "parts," each with its own thoughts, emotions, and roles. While some parts protect you, others may carry unresolved pain from past experiences. IFS Therapy provides a compassionate and structured way to help these parts find balance and healing.

IFS as a proven method to help people work through challenges by listening to and caring for these inner parts. By reconnecting with your Self, you can heal past hurts, reduce stress, and improve relationships.

But IFS isn’t just for therapy. It’s also a way to navigate life with more confidence, calm, and clarity. People from all walks of life—coaches, teachers, leaders, and more—use IFS principles to bring more understanding and compassion into their work. At its core, IFS is about helping people live with more balance, kindness, and connection.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a popular and effective type of therapy that helps people change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It’s based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected—so by changing the way we think, we can also change how we feel and behave.

CBT is often used to help with anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional challenges. Instead of just talking about problems, it focuses on practical tools and strategies to help people manage their emotions and improve their daily lives. For example, if someone struggles with self-doubt, CBT helps them recognize negative thoughts (like “I’m not good enough”), challenge them, and replace them with more realistic and helpful thoughts (like “I’m doing my best, and that’s enough”).

Because it’s structured, goal-oriented, and backed by research, many therapists use CBT to help clients build healthier habits, cope with stress, and develop a more positive mindset. It’s also a skill set that people can use on their own to handle life’s challenges more effectively.

Creative Expression

Creativity is a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery. Engaging in creative practices allows you to process emotions, reduce stress, and reconnect with your authentic self in a meaningful way. Whether through journaling, art, movement, music, or other expressive outlets, creativity provides a safe space for self-exploration and emotional release.

When we engage in creative activities, we tap into a deeper part of ourselves that often remains hidden in our busy, structured lives. Creativity bypasses the analytical mind, allowing for a free-flowing expression of emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Studies show that creative engagement can lower cortisol levels, promote relaxation, and enhance overall emotional well-being.

By incorporating creative practices into your self-care routine, you nurture emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate a stronger connection to your inner self. Creativity is a form of self-love, offering you a way to express, heal, and grow.
